Jilakara Podi/Cumin Powder

Ingredient

1 Cup Cumin/Jeera Seeds

Directions
  1. Heat pan on a medium-low flame & add cumin seeds.
  2. Dry roast them for 5 minutes or until golden brown colour.
  3. Let it cool at room temperature & add it to a dry mixie jar.
  4. Grind into a smooth powder & transfer into an airtight container.
Note: Stays fresh for 2 years when stored in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct heat or sunlight; keep tightly closed when not in use.
