Ingredients

4 Cups Milk Mawa Powder
1/4 Tspn Green Cardamom(Ellachi) Powder
1 Tin(397ml) Sweetened Condensed Milk or Milkmaid
3 Tblspn + 1 Tspn Ghee/Clarified Butter
2 Tblspn Cashew Nuts, broken

Directions
  • Heat 3 tablespoon ghee in a wide pan on a medium-low flame; add condensed milk & start stirring till they get incorporated fully. 
  • Now add the milk mawa powder, cardamom powder & stir it continuously with a spatula so that it doesn't get burned at the bottom. Cook till it thickens & starts to leave its sides.
  • Once it forms a thick paste or dough consistency turn off the flame & when the mixture is warm enough to handle apply ghee to your palms.
  • Take a small amount of mixture & make it into a smooth round shaped peda (yield 25-30 pedas). Garnish each peda with broken cashew nuts.
  • Serve.
Note: Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2-3 days at room temperature. Stays fresh for a week when refrigerated.
