Eggless Bournvita Walnut Cake

Ingredients

1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Fine Sugar
1/2 Cup Bournvita
1/2 Tspn Baking Powder
1/4 Tspn Baking Soda
1 Tspn Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Butter Melted
1/4 Cup Walnuts, chopped
1 Cup Milk

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375F(190.5C).
  • In a mixing bowl; add butter, oil, sugar, vanilla extract, milk & beat it with a hand mixer on medium high speed.                                        
  • In another bowl, sift the dry ingredients together.
  • Now add the dry ingredients to the oil milk mixture. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed but do not over mix the batter.
  • Add chopped walnuts & mix with a spatula.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch glass baking pan.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 
  • Remove the pan from oven, let it cool at room temperature & slice.
  • Serve.
Note: Cover the left over cake with a plastic wrap or foil to prevent drying out & stays fresh for 2-3 days at normal room temperature.
