1 Cup Fresh Coconut, cut into 1-inch pieces
4-5 Green Chillies

1/4 Tspn Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Seeds
1/2 Tspn Mustard(Avaalu) Seeds
Few Curry Leaves
3-4 Dry Chillies
2 Tspn Chana Dal (Chanaga Pappu)
2 Tblspn Oil

Ingredients

Directions
- Add coconut pieces, green chillies, salt to a mixie jar(you can also add 2 tablespoons of mint & cilantro leaves) & grind into a fine powder. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame; add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry chillies, curry leaves, chana dal & saute for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder & saute for a minute.
- Add coconut powder & mix everything well. Saute for 3-5 minutes by stirring continuously.
- Add cooked rice, little salt if needed & mix everything well.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes by stirring in between & turn off the flame.
- Serve coconut rice.
