Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

2 Medium Sized Sweet Potatoes; peel & cut into 1/2-inch stick lengthwise
Salt to Taste
1/4 Tspn Garlic Powder(optional)
1/4 Tspn Pepper Powder
1/4 Tspn Dry Oregano Leaves(optional)
1 Tblspn Olive Oil

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 450F(232.2C). Line your baking tray with a sheet of aluminium foil coated with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, add sweet potatoes & toss with salt, garlic powder, pepper powder, olive oil, dry oregano leaves.
  • Arrange sweet potatoes on a baking tray in a single layer (try not to over crowd them). Bake for 15-20 minutes; turning once halfway or until edges are lightly browned & centers are tender.
  • Carefully remove the baking tray from oven & transfer them to a plate.
  • Serve warm with tomato ketchup or ranch dressing.
Note: You can also use idaho potatoes or old potatoes (used for baking) instead of sweet potatoes.
