Carrot Milkshake

Ingredients

1 Cup Carrots, thinly sliced
12-16 Almonds/Badam
2 Cups Milk
1 Tblspn Sugar or add as needed
1/8 Tspn Green Cardamom Powder
1 Cup Hot Water

Directions
  • Soak almonds in hot water for 30 minutes & drain (if you have more time, soak almonds in normal water for 4 hours).
  • After 30 minutes; remove the skin of almonds & keep aside.
  • Bring milk to a boil in a sauce pan on medium flame.
  • Once it comes to a boil add cardamom powder, sugar & mix everything well. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes & turn off the flame.
  • Now add sliced carrots, almonds & cover with a lid.

  • Allow it to cool at room temperature & add carrots, almonds, half of the milk to a blender jar. Blend until you reach a smooth texture & add remaining milk. Blend once again.
  • Serve carrot milkshake at room temperature or chilled.
