Baked Shrimp Cheese Bread Using Leftover Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

6  Large Milk Bread Rolls/Dinner Rolls, cut into 11/2-inch cubes
10 Cooked Jumbo Shrimp, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (you can also use cooked chicken pieces); optional
3/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (you can also use your choice of cheese variety)
3 Eggs
2 Cups Whole Milk or 2% Milk
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Black Pepper Powder or add as needed
1/4 Tspn Garlic Powder

Directions
  • Grease a 9-inch glass or aluminum baking pan with little oil & evenly place all the cubed bread  pieces in the pan.
  • Sprinkle shrimp pieces, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, pepper powder, salt evenly over the bread pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs & add milk. Mix everything well with a spoon & evenly pour the mixture over bread.
  • Ensure all the bread is wet with the liquid & cover with an aluminum foil. 
  • Place it in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight & remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to baking.
  • Preheat oven to 350F(176.6C) & bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove aluminum foil & bake for another 20-30 minutes until center is cooked & edges turn to golden brown colour.
  • Carefully remove the pan from oven & slice into square pieces.
  • Serve hot.
