Ingredients
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
2 Tspn Milk Powder
1/2 Cup Softened Butter, unsalted
1/8 Tspn Salt
2 Tspn Milk Powder
1/2 Cup Softened Butter, unsalted
1/8 Tspn Salt
2/3 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 Tspn Baking Powder
1/2 Tspn Vanilla Extract (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350F(180C) & line a baking tray with aluminium foil coated with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, sift the dry ingredients together & keep aside.
- Add sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract in another bowl & mix everything well.
- Add dry ingredients & crumble the mixture to form a dough (if it is sticky add more flour to it).
- Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangular shape with 3/4-inch thickness on a floured surface & cut it into chand or crescent shape using a round steel cutter (i used round plastic lid). Repeat the process till the dough is completed.
- Place them on a baking tray, spaced 1-inch apart & bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden crust (make sure not to over bake).
- Remove the pan from oven, let it cool at room temperature & serve.
Note: Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2-3 days at normal room temperature.
