Egg & Cheese Crossaint Sandwich

Ingredients

1 Croissant
1 Egg
1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese
Salt as needed
1/8 Tspn Red Chilli Powder or Black Pepper Powder (i used red chilli powder)
1 Tspn Oil

Directions
  • Slice the croissant into two halves & keep aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F(176.7C) & line a baking tray with an aluminium foil coated with cooking spray.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium flame & add egg. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder & cook until base is golden brown colour. 
  • Flip to cook other side as well & turn off the flame. Keep aside.
  • For assembling a sandwich; take bottom base of sliced croissant & place cooked omelette followed by cheese slice (i used small cube slices of 24 months old cheddar cheese). 
  • Cover it with top base of the croissant. 
  • Place the croissant sandwich on the greased pan & bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese melts.
  • Carefully remove the pan from oven & serve immediately.
