Ingredients
1 Tblspn All Purpose Flour (Bleached)
2 Tblspn Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 Tblspn Sugar
2 Tblspn Unsalted Butter, melted
1 Egg
2 Tblspn Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 Tblspn Sugar
2 Tblspn Unsalted Butter, melted
1 Egg
1/4 Tspn Baking Powder or 1/8 Tspn Baking Soda (i used baking soda)
Pinch of Salt (optional)
1/4 Tspn Vanilla Extract
1 Tspn Sugar Powder for Dusting
1 Tspn Sugar Powder for Dusting
1 Tspn Milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F(204C).
- In a bowl, sift the dry ingredients together (all purpose flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk egg, sugar, butter, milk & vanilla extract until combined well.
- Add the dry ingredients & whisk to form a smooth batter without any lumps.
- Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups (you can also use ramekin) three-fourths full with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until center jiggles slightly (cake should move slightly from side to side) when moved.
- Remove the pan from oven, wait for 2-3 minutes & run a small knife around the cake to separate it from muffin cup (if using paper-lined muffin cups, carefully remove the cake from muffin cup).
- Carefully place it on a serving plate & dust some sugar powder on top of the cake (optional).
- Serve.
