1 Cup Maida/Refined Wheat Flour

- In a bowl; combine all purpose flour, salt & water to make a smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth & let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Place the dough on a well floured surface & make 10 equal size balls from the dough.
- Take one dough ball & flatten it using your palm.
- Using a rolling pin roll each dough into 4-inch diameter circle & keep aside.
- Brush oil evenly on the top of one 4-inch diameter circle rolled dough & dust some all purpose flour as shown in the picture below.
- Place another 4-inch diameter circle rolled dough on top of that & repeat the process of applying oil, dusting flour with another three 4-inch diameter circle rolled dough which makes total of five rolled dough pieces as shown in the picture below.
- Using a rolling pin roll the five layers of rolled dough into 7-inch diameter circle & keep aside.
- Repeat the process with another five 4-inch diameter circle rolled dough, it makes total of two 7-inch diameter circle.
- Heat a tawa on medium flame. Place it on heated tawa & cook for 10 seconds on both sides as shown in the picture below(do not cook fully).
- Repeat the process with the remaining 7-inch rolled dough.
- Allow it to cool at room temperature & carefully separate each layer so it makes total of 5 sheets or wrappers in each cooked rolled dough (yields 10 spring roll wrappers or sheets).
Note:
- Cover tightly with a plastic wrap & stays fresh for 3 weeks when freezed.
- You can also use these wrappers for preparing samosas.
