Directions
- Heat a pan on low flame; add almonds, oats & saute for 1-2 minutes or until raw smell goes away.
- Transfer to a bowl & let it cool at room temperature.
- Heat the same pan on low flame; add chopped dates & saute until they turn soft.
- Transfer to a bowl & let it cool at room temperature.
- Add roasted oats almond mixture to a blender & blend into a coarse powder. Transfer to a bowl & keep aside.
- Add dates to a blender & blend into a coarse paste.
- To the same blender add oats almond mixture & blend them together into coarse paste.
- Transfer to a bowl; take a small amount of mixture in your hand & make a round shaped laddu (yields 10 laddus).
- Serve dates & oats laddu.
- Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2-3 weeks at room temperature.
- Instead of almonds you can also add cashews or walnuts.
- You can also add 1-2 tablespoons of ghee for roasting almonds & dates separately.
