Ingredients
5-6 Garlic Cloves, finely minced
4 Bread SlicesSalt to Taste
1 Cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend(you can also use your choice of shredded cheese)
4 Tblspn Butter or Ghee(Clarified Butter) or Olive Oil
Directions
- In a bowl add miced garlic, olive oil, little salt & mix everything well with a spoon. Keep aside.
- Heat a pan on low flame; apply garlic olive oil mixture on both sides of each bread slice & toast each bread slice on only one side until golden brown & crisp. Flip them with a spatula.
- Sprinkle 1/4th cup of mexican cheese blend on each toasted side (you can also use shredded mozzarella cheese).
- Cover with a lid or plate & cook until cheese melts completely. Remove the lid & transfer them to a plate.
- Serve garlic cheese toast immediately.
Note: Instead of toasting the bread on a stove top; you can also bake the bread (apply garlic olive oil mixture on one side of the bread & sprinkle cheese on top of it) in an oven at 400F(204C) for 10 minutes or until cheese melts completely.
