Bread Pudding

Ingredients

9 Milk Bread Slices (approx 200grams) 
3 Eggs
2 1/2 Cups Whole Milk 
3 Tblspn Fresh Cream or Heavy Cream, (optional)
2/3 Cup Sugar or add as needed
3/4 Tspn Cinnamon Powder
3/4 Tspn Vanilla Essence
3 Tblspn Almonds, thinly sliced

Directions
  • Grease a 6-inch glass or aluminum baking pan with little oil & evenly place all the bread slices side by side in the pan. 

  • In a mixing bowl; add eggs, milk, fresh cream, sugar, cinnamom powder, vanilla essence & whisk for 4-6 minutes. 
  • Evenly pour the mixture over bread.
  • Ensure all the bread is wet with the liquid & let them soak or 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle sliced almonds over the soaked bread.
  • Preheat oven to 350F(176.6C) & bake for 45 minutes until edges turn to golden brown colour.
  • Remove the pan from oven & cover with an aluminum foil. 
  • Let the bread pudding cool down completely.
  • Place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, cut into square or rectangular pieces & serve.
