Ingredients
1 1/2 Tblspn Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tblspn Cornflour or Cornstarch
1 1/3 Cup Milk
Pinch of Salt
1 Tblspn Butter
1/2 Tspn Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Add milk, cocoa powder, sugar, cornflour, salt to a wide sauce pan & mix everything well.
- Place it over a medium flame & stir it continuously with a spatula so that it doesn't get burned at the bottom.
- Cook till it thickens & coats the back of a steel spoon as shown in the picture below.
- Turn off the flame, add butter & vanilla extract.
- Mix everything well with a spatula & transfer to a bowl.
- Serve it warm or chilled.
Note: Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for a week when refrigerated.
