Ingredients
1 Small Sized Onion, finely chopped
1/2 Cup Cabbage, finely chopped
Salt to Taste
1/4 Cup Cilantro/Coriander Leaves, chopped
1 Tblspn Lemon Juice
3-4 Garlic Cloves, minced1 1/2 Tblspn Corn Flour (Cornstarch)
3 Tblspn Water
3/4 Tspn Black Pepper Powder
1 Tblspn Butter or Oil
2 1/2 Cups Water or Vegetable Stock
Directions
- In a small bowl; add cornflour, 3 tablespoons water & mix well to form a smooth mixture. Keep aside.
- Heat butter in a sauce pan on medium flame; add minced garlic & saute for a second.
- Add water or vegetable stock & let it come to a boil.
- Add coriander leaves, lemon juice & corn flour mixture by stirring continuously so that lumps are not formed.
- Add salt, pepper powder & mix everything well.
- Boil for another 2-4 minutes or until mixture turns thick & turn off the flame.
- Transfer to a serving bowl & garnish with few coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
