Instant Kesar Paneer Modak

Ingredients

1 Cup Fresh Cottage Cheese/Paneer, crumbled
1 Cardamom Pod, discard the skin
4 Tblspn Sugar
1 Tblspn Warm Milk, optional
Few Saffron Strands, optional

Directions
  • Soak few saffron strands in warm milk for 10 minutes.
  • Add sugar, cardamom seeds to a dry mixie jar & blend into a fine powder.
  • In a mixing bowl add crumbled paneer & knead with your hand until you reach smooth texture.
  • Add powdered sugar & mix.
  • Add saffron milk & knead to a smooth dough.
  • Take 2 tablespoons of paneer dough & shape it into a modak.
  • Place it on a plate & repeat the process with the remaining dough.
  • With the help of a toothpick make lines around the modak.
  • On Ganesh Chaturthi offer these kesar paneer modak to Lord Ganesha.
Note: 
  1. Serve these kesar paneer modak immediately or store it in an airtight container & refrigerate for later use.
  2. Stays fresh for 2 days when refrigerated.
