Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza Dough
1/2 Cup Boneless Chicken, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3 Tblspn Zucchini, chopped
2 Jalapeno, chopped
1/4 Cup Onion, vertically sliced
225 Grams Mozzarella Cheese, shredded( i used fresh mozzarella)
1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
1/8 Tspn Pepper Powder
1/8 Tspn Garlic Powder
1 Tspn Oil

Directions
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium flame, add chicken pieces, little salt, garlic powder, pepper powder & saute for 6-8 minutes. Turn off the flame & keep it aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 425F(218C). 
  • Line a baking tray or pizza pan with an aluminium foil coated with cooking spray.
  • Roll pizza dough into a thin rectangular shaped pizza( 1/2-3/4 inch thickness) on a floured surface & place on a greased pan.
  • First spread pizza sauce with a ladle on pizza & leave 3/4 inch space on the edge for crust. 
  • Top with seasoned chicken pieces, chopped zucchini, sliced onion, chopped jalapeno, shredded mozzarella. (Note: Fresh mozzarella holds so much moisture, it can make pizza watery. So set the mozzarella on a towel to absorb excess moisture for atleast 15 minutes. Once the shredded mozarella seem dry top it on pizza).

  • Bake for 15 minutes & low broil for 2 minutes (cook until the crust begins to blister & char). Remove the pan from oven & transfer them to a plate.
  • Serve hot.
Note: Properly store leftover pizza in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2-4 days when refrigerated.
