Ingredients
1 Cup Quaker Oats
1/2 Cup Cracked Wheat/Godhuma Rava or Sooji(Bombay Rava); i used cracked wheat
1/2 Cup Yogurt(Curd)
1/8 Tspn Baking Soda
Salt to Taste
1/4 Cup Grated Carrot
1 Tblspn Sweet Mini Peppers or 1/2 Tspn Green Chillies, chopped; i used sweet mini peppers
1/2 Cup Water or add as needed
1 Glass of Water, medium sized
1 Tspn Oil

Directions
- Add quaker oats to a dry mixie jar & grind into a fine powder. Transfer to a mixing bowl & add all the ingredients except oil & glass of water. Mix everything well & consistency should be like idli batter as shown in the picture below.
- Grease idly plates & fill each mould with oats batter using a spoon.
- Bring a glass of water to a boil in idly steamer or pressure cooker & place the idli stand in the steamer. Cover with a lid & steam for 10-15 minutes on a medium flame or until idlis are cooked.
- Turn off the flame & after 5 minutes open the lid. Remove the idli stand from water. With a spoon loosen the sides of the oats idli & demould them. Transfer them to a plate.
- Serve oats idli with peanut chutney, coconut chutney, ginger chutney, onion chutney & sambar.
