2 Cups Thick Dosa Batter
1/4 Cup Grated Carrot
1 Medium Sized Onion, finely chopped
2-3 Green Chillies, chopped
1/4 Cup Cilantro Leaves (Kothmir), chopped
1 Tblspn Chana Dal(Chanaga Pappu); soak in water for 2 hours & drain water (optional)
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Seeds
Oil as needed

Ingredients

Directions
- Check out my blog for dosa batter recipe.
- In a mixing bowl; add all the ingredients except oil & mix well.
- Grease the ponganalu pan with oil & heat the pan on a medium flame.
- Fill each mould with the prepared batter & cook for 5-8 minutes or until base turns golden brown.
- Flip them with a fork & cook the other side also until golden brown.
- Transfer them to a plate & repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- Serve ponganalu with peanut chutney, sambar, ginger chutney, onion chutney or coconut chutney.
