2 Cups Sprouted Moong Dal
1 Medium Sized Onion, finely chopped
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Tspn Chaat Masala
Salt to Taste
1/4 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
Few Curry Leaves (optional)
1/4 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Seeds
1/4 Tspn Mustard(Avaalu) Seeds
1 Tblspn Oil

Directions
- Heat oil in a pan on a medium-low flame; add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves(optional) & saute for a minute. Add 3/4th of chopped onions & fry until they turn translucent.
- Add gingergarlic paste, red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala & mix everything well. Saute for another minute.
- Now add sprouted moong dal & mix everything well.
- Saute for 3-5 minutes by stirring occasionally & turn off the flame.
- Transfer to a bowl & garnish with remaining 1/4th of chopped onion.
- Serve sprouted moong dal chaat.
Note: Directions for Sprouted Moong Dal
- Wash & soak 1 cup of green moong dal in water for 8 hours.
- After 8 hours drain water completely & place the green moong dal in a muslin cloth or paper towel. Wrap & keep it in a bowl.
- Leave it in a warm place overnight & in the morning when unwrapped you can see sprouted moong dal.
- Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for 1 week when refrigerated.
