Scrambled Egg Sandwich

Ingredients

4 Eggs
6-8 Bread Slices
4 Amul Cheese Slices (you can also use your choice of cheese)
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Black Pepper Powder or Red Chilli Powder
4 Tspn Green Chutney (optional)
4 Tblspn Yellow Bell Pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 Medium Sized Onion, sliced
1 Tblspn Oil
2 Tblspn Butter

Directions
  • Whisk eggs in a bowl & keep aside.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan on medium flame; add whisked eggs & lightly scramble. Add pepper powder, salt & saute until egg is cooked. Turn off the flame & keep aside.
  • For assembling a sandwich; take a bread slice & spread a teaspoon of green chutney over it (check out my blog for green chutney recipe).
  • Place 3 tablespoons of scrambled eggs stuffing followed by 3-4 sliced onions & a tablespoon of yellow bell pepper.
  • Place a slice of amul cheese over the stuffing & cover it with another bread slice. 
  • Repeat the process with remaining bread slices.
  • Heat a tawa on medium-low flame; spread little butter on tawa with a spatula or apply on top of each bread slice & place scrambled egg sandwich on tawa.
  • Toast the sandwich on both sides until golden brown & crisp.
  • Transfer to a plate & cut each scrambled egg sandwich diagonally.
  • Serve scrambled egg sandwich immediately.
