Ingredients
1 1/8 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
1/3 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Tspn Baking Soda
1/4 Tspn Salt
1 Tspn Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups Dark Chocolate Chunks or Semisweet Chocolate Chips (i used dark chocolate)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375F(190.5C).
- In a small bowl, sift the dry ingredients together (all purpose flour, salt, baking soda).
- In a mixing bowl; whisk sugar, egg, butter & vanilla extract until combined well.
- Add the dry ingredients & mix it with a rubber spatula to form a soft dough.
- Stir in the dark chocolate chunks or chocolate chips & cover the bowl with a plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for atleast 2 hours (refrigerate overnight for best results).
- After 2 hours, scoop 1/4 cup of dough mixture onto a baking tray, spaced 2-inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown (do not over bake these cookies as it won't be soft in the middle). Carefully remove the tray from oven & allow the cookies to cool on baking tray for 5 minutes before transfering them to a wire rack or plate to cool completely.
- Serve chocolate chip cookies.
Note:
- Store cookies in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2-3 days at normal room temperature.
- Raw Dough can be freezed for upto 6-8 weeks & bake them fresh whenever you want.
