Indian Style Cheesy Pasta

Ingredients

255 Grams or 9 Oz Angel Hair Pasta (you can also use your choice of pasta)
10-14 Grape Tomatoes, cut into halves
1/2 Tspn Black Pepper Powder
1/2 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
Salt to Taste
3-4 Garlic Cloves, minced finely
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Tblspn Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
1/2 Cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend (you can also use your choice of cheese)
2 Tblspn Butter/Olive Oil

Directions
  • Bring water to a boil in a pot on medium-high flame; add angel hair pasta & let it cook till it is done (Note: Cook pasta according to the directions on the package). Turn off the flame.
  • Drain the pasta in a strainer & rinse it with cold running water. Keep it aside.
  • To a half cup of milk add wheat flour & combine well. Keep it aside.
  • Heat butter in a pan on medium flame, add minced garlic & saute for a minute.
  • Now add grape tomatoes & saute it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt, garam masala powder, pour in the milk mixture. 
  • Saute for 3-4 minutes (if the sauce becomes too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water), now add angel hair pasta & saute for another 2-3 minutes. 
  • Finally add shredded cheese(you can also add shredded parmesan cheese) & mix everything well (do not overcook cheese).
  • Turn off the flame & serve immediately.
Note: Instead of adding cheese at the end; you can also add it in the sauce (milk & flour sauce).
You can also add regular tomatoes (chopped) instead of grape tomatoes.
