Ingredients

For Marination

250 Grams Baby Bella & White Button Mushrooms
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
1/4 Tspn Turmeric Powder
2 Tblspn Cornflour or Cornstarch
2 Tblspn Maida/Refined Wheat Flour
2 Tblspn Thick Yogurt/Curd
1 Tspn Oil

For Mushroom 65

1 Tblspn Oil
1/2 Tblspn Soya Sauce
1/2 Tblspn Chilli Garlic Sauce
1/2 Tblspn Tomato Ketchup
Few Curry Leaves

Directions

For Marination
  • Wash mushrooms under running water & drain. Cut them into 2-4 halves.
  • Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl & mix evrything so that mushrooms are coated well with the batter.
  • Cover with a plastic wrap & refrigerate for an hour.
  • After one hour, place an aluminium foil (coated with cooking spray) in the air fryer basket & arrange the marinated mushrooms side by side without touching each other. 
  • Close the air fryer basket, set temperature to 370F(188C) & timer to 15 minutes. 
  • Start the air fryer & air fry until mushrooms turn crisp on both sides, turning once half way. 
  • Once the timer is up, open the air fryer basket & carefully transfer crispy cooked mushrooms to a plate. Keep aside.


For Mushroom 65
  • In a small bowl; add chilli garlic sauce, tomato ketchup, soya sauce & mix well. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan on a low flame & add curry leaves. Saute until they turn crisp.
  • Add mixed sauces & saute for a minute. 
  • Add air fried mushrooms & toss for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame & transfer them to a plate.
  • Serve mushroom 65 as an appetizer.
NoteInstead of air fryer, you can also deep fry the marinated mushrooms until golden brown & crisp or you can also bake them at 400F(204C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown on both sides, turning once half way.
