Chapathi Laddu/Roti Laddu

Ingredients

4 Chapathis/Rotis, tear into small pieces
1/3 Cup Jaggery/Bellam; grated
1 Tblspn Ghee/Clarified Butter 
1/8 Tspn Green Cardamom(Ellachi) Powder
2 Tblspn Cashew Nuts, broken

Directions
  • Add chapathi pieces, cardamom powder to a dry mixie jar & grind into a fine powder (To chapathi powder you can add grated jaggery & grind it to a fine powder. The jaggery i used was too soft so added it in the next step).
  • Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Add cashew nuts & grated jaggery( Jaggery got melted while grating as it was too soft so i added it in this step). Mix everything well.

  • Finally add ghee & mix everything well.

  • Make them into round shaped laddus. 
  • Serve chapathi/roti laddu.
Note: Store it in an airtight container & stays fresh for 2 days at room temperature. You can also make it using leftover chapathis.
