Oil Free Schezwan Chilli Chicken

Ingredients

1 1/2 Kg Chicken (Bone-in)
12-14 Green Chillies, slit in the center
1 Tblspn Red Chilli Powder
1 1/2 Tblspn Gingergarlic Paste
4 Tblspn All Purpose Flour(Maida)
2 Tblspn Cornflour
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Tblspn Soya Sauce
2 Tblspn Green Chilli Sauce
2 Tblspn Schezwan Chilli Garlic Sauce
1 Tblspn Vinegar
Salt to Taste
1/4 Cup Cilantro/Coriander Leaves, finely chopped


Directions
  • Wash chicken under running water & drain. Make 4-5 slits in each chicken piece using a knife.
  • In a mixing bowl add chicken pieces & all the ingredients. Mix everything so that chicken pieces are coated well.
  • Cover the bowl & place it in the refrigerator for atleast 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 425F(218C) & line a baking tray with aluminium foil coated with cooking spray. Arrange each marinated chicken pieces on a greased tray about 1/2 inch apart.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked, turning once half way. 
  • Remove the pan from oven & transfer them to a plate.
  • Serve hot with sliced onions & lemon wedges.
