Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

250 Grams Cottage Cheese/Paneer, cut into 10-12 square shaped cubes
1/2 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
Salt to Taste
1/8 Tspn Turmeric Powder
1/4 Tspn Pepper Powder
1/2 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder
1/2 Tspn Chaat Masala Powder
1/4 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
5 Tblspn Thick Yogurt or curd
1 Tspn Lemon Juice
1/2 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
12-14 Onion Cubes layers separated
14-16 cubes of Red & Green Bell Pepper(Capsicum)
1 Tspn Oil

Directions
  1. In a bowl add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, yogurt, lemon juice, gingergarlic paste, oil & combine well.
  2. Add the cubed bell peppers, onion & mix well. Then add paneer cubes & gently coat them with the marinade.
  3. Cover & refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven at 425F(220C).
  5. Skewer paneer cubes alternating with onions & bell peppers( you can also use toothpicks instead of skewers).
  6. On a rack or a greased baking pan arrange the paneer skewers. Brush some oil on the veggies & paneer.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, turning once half way. Carefully remove the pan from oven & transfer them to a plate.
  8. Serve immediately.
Note: Toothpicks should be placed in cold water for 10 minutes before using.
