Total Time: 25min
Yield: 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

500 Grams Prawn/Shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 Small Sized Onion, chopped finely
2 Tblspn Cilantro(Kothmir) Leaves, chopped
1 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
2 Tblspn Gram Flour(Besan)
1 Tblspn Corn Flour
1/2 Tspn Chaat Masala
1/8 Tspn Turmeric Powder
2 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder
1/4 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Powder
Oil for Deep Fry

Directions
  1. Wash shrimp under running water & drain completely. Grind shrimp in a mixie jar for 5 seconds, they need to just come together with a bit of chunks in it but do not turn it into a smooth paste. Transfer it to a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except oil & combine everything.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai/sauce pan on a medium flame for frying shrimp pakora, once the oil is hot enough drop small quantity of shrimp mixture & fry them in small batches for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown & crisp.
  3. Keep turning the pakoras with a strainer ladle while frying otherwise they get discoloured.
  4. Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towel to remove excess oil.
  5. Serve warm.
