Ingredients
200 Grams Okra(Bhindi), wash, discard the ends & cut into 3/4 inch pieces
1 Medium Sized Onion, finely chopped
3 Medium Sized Tomatoes, chopped
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
1/8 Tspn Turmeric Powder
3/4 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder, optional
1 Tblspn Cilantro(Kothmir) Leaves, chopped
1 Tblspn Oil
1/2 Cup Water or add as needed

Directions
- Heat oil in a wide pan on a medium flame, add chopped onion & fry until they turn translucent.
- Add gingergarlic paste & saute for a minute. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder & saute for another minute.
- Add chopped okra & saute for 3-5 minutes. Now add chopped tomatoes & cook for another 2-3 minutes. Finally add water, cilantro leaves & mix. Cover with a lid & cook for 10-12 minutes or until okra turns soft by stirring occasionally. Turn off the flame.
- Serve hot with rice or roti or tandoori roti.
