Ingredients
500 Grams Boneless Chicken, cut into small pieces
1 Tblspn Black Peppercorns
Salt to Taste
1/4 Tspn Turmeric Powder
1 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder
6-8 Green Chillies
1/4 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
1 Tblspn Thick Yogurt or curd
1/4 Cup Fresh Cream
1 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
2 Tblspn Cilantro Leaves
4-6 Cashews
3/4 Tspn Kasuri Methi
Directions
- Wash chicken pieces under running water & drain completely.
- Add green chillies,yogurt, salt, black peppercorns, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cilantro leaves, gingergarlic paste, cashews, kasuri methi to a mixie jar & grind into a smooth paste. Keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl add chicken pieces, prepared masala paste, fresh cream & combine everything well.
- Cover & refrigerate for atleast an hour (overnight yields best results).
- After an hour, preheat the oven at 400F(204C).
- Skewer chicken pieces & place them in the oven.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked completely, turning once half way (for a light char on the chicken pieces broil on low for approx 3-5 minutes turning once halfway; before turning off the oven).
- Carefully remove the skewers from oven & transfer them to a plate.
- Serve immediately.
