Ingredients
2 Bread Slices, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
1/3 Cup Boiled Chickpeas or Chole Masala
1 Small Sized Potato, boiled, peeled & cubed
1/4 Cup Whisked Yogurt/Curd
1 Small Sized Onion, finely chopped
1/4 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
1/4 Tspn Chaat Masala Powder
1/8 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Powder
Salt to Taste
3 Tblspn Tamarind Chutney
2 Puris/Golgappa, crushed
2 Tblspn Butter
Directions
- Heat butter in a pan on medium-low flame; add bread cubes & saute until they turn crisp.
- Add 1/8 teaspoon of chaat masala, 1/8 teaspoon of red chilli powder, salt & toss them.
- Turn off the flame & keep aside.
- Arrange crispy bread cubes in a plate side by side & top it up with chole masala followed by boiled potato cubes (In this step you can also add chopped tomato by discarding its pulp).
- Add tamarind chutney followed by whisked yogurt.
- Sprinkle chopped onion & crushed puris/golgappa.
- Sprinkle 1/8 teaspoon of red chilli powder, cumin powder, 1/8 teaspoon of chaat masala powder & little salt.
- Serve bread chaat immediately.
