Aloo Puttu/Potato Puttu

Ingredients

3 Medium Sized Potatoes; boiled, peeled & mashed
2-3 Green Chillies, chopped
1/4 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
1/2 Tspn Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Seeds
1/2 Tspn Mustard(Avaalu) Seeds
1 Tspn Urad Dal(Mina Pappu)
Few Curry(Karivepaku) Leaves
1 Tspn Lemon Juice
1 Tblspn Cilantro Leaves, chopped
1 Tblspn Oil

Directions
  • Heat oil in a pan on a medium-low flame; add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal, chopped green chillies, curry leaves & saute for a minute. 
  • Add gingergarlic paste & saute for another minute. Now add turmeric powder, salt & saute for a second. 
  • Finally add mashed potatoes & saute for 3-4 minutes. 
  • Turn off the flame & add lemon juice. 
  • Mix everything well & transfer to a bowl.
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves & serve with poori or roti.
