2 1/2 Cups Blueberries; fresh or frozen (i used fresh blueberries, washed)
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sugar or add as needed
1 Tblspn Lemon Juice
Directions
- In a sauce pan add all the ingredients, bring to a boil on a medium-high flame by stirring occasionally.
- Once it comes to a boil, turn flame to low & mash blueberries with back of the ladle. Cook for 10 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken.
- Turn off the flame & keep aside. Allow it to cool at room temperature & store it in an airtight container.
- Enjoy this delicious blueberry sauce on pancakes, waffles, crepes, ice-creams, muffins & cheesecakes.
Note: Stays fresh for 2-3 weeks when refrigerated & 2 months when freezed.
