6 Pavs or Bread Rolls
2 Medium Sized Potatoes
1 Medium Sized Onion, finely chopped
1 Medium Sized Tomato, discard the seeds & chop finely
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
Salt to Taste
3/4 Tspn Chaat Masala Powder or 1/2 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
1/8 Tspn Gingergarlic Paste
6-8 Tblspn Green Chutney
2 Tblspn Butter/Ghee/Oil

Directions
- Boil potato in a microwave or in a pressure cooker; peel & mash it in a bowl. Add red chilli powder, salt, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chaat masala, gingergarlic paste & mix everything well.
- Divide mixture into 6 equal portions & roll them into a small size balls. Take one ball; gently press it between your palms & make a round shaped 1/2 inch thick patty.
- Heat oil on a tawa on medium flame & shallow fry patties on both sides for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Switch off the flame & keep aside.
- For assembling a pav; slice each pav without breaking it into two parts & spread a tablespoon of green chutney on the sliced pav.
- Place the potato patty & spread a teaspoon of green chutney on the patty.
- Cover it with top base of the pav & repeat the process with remaining pavs.
- Serve tawa aloo pav immediately.
