Grape Sauce

Yield: 1 Cup


Ingredients


2 1/2 Cups Black Grapes; fresh or frozen (i used fresh grapes, washed & deseeded)
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sugar or add as needed
1 Tblspn Lemon Juice

Directions

  • In a sauce pan add all the ingredients, bring to a boil on a medium-low flame by stirring occasionally. 
  • Once it comes to a boil, turn flame to low & mash grapes with back of the ladle. 
  • Cook for 5-8 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken. 
  • Turn off the flame & keep aside. Allow it to cool at room temperature & store it in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy this delicious grape sauce on pancakes, waffles, crepes, ice-creams, muffins, breads & cheesecakes.
Note: Stays fresh for 2-3 weeks when refrigerated & 2 months when freezed.
