500 Grams Chicken, bone-in & cut into medium sized pieces
1 Large Sized Onion, chopped finely
1 Medium Sized Tomato, chopped
1 Tblspn Red Chilli Powder
2-3 Green Chillies, slit on one side
1/2 Tspn Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1 Tblspn Gingergarlic Paste
1 Tspn Dry Coconut Powder
1 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder
1/2 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
3 Tblspn Yogurt (Curd)
3 Tblspn Cilantro(Kothmir) Leaves, chopped
3 Tblspn Mint Leaves (Pudina)
1 Cup Water or add as needed

Directions
- Wash chicken under running water & drain completely.
- Heat oil in a sauce pan on medium flame, add green chillies & saute for a minute. Now add onion & fry until they turn translucent.
- Add gingergarlic paste & saute for another minute.
- Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, dry coconut powder & saute for another minute.
- Now add chicken pieces, cilantro leaves, mint leaves & combine well.
- Cook for 5-10 minutes or until oil separates.
- Add chopped tomato & cook until they turn soft.
- Add yogurt & mix well.
- Add water & close the lid. Let it cook for another 10-15 minutes or until chicken turns tender by stirring occasionally.
- Turn off the flame & serve hot with rice or roti or tandoori roti.
