500 Grams or 1/2 Kg Mutton bone-in, cut into medium sized pieces
1 Medium Sized Onion, chopped finely
1 Medium Sized Tomato, chopped
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
8-10 Green Chillies
1/2 Tspn Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1 Tblspn Gingergarlic Paste
1 Tspn Coriander(Dhania) Powder
1/2 Tspn Garam Masala Powder
1/8 Tspn Cumin(Jeera) Powder
1 Cup Cilantro(Kothmir) Leaves, tightly packed
1 Cup Mint Leaves (Pudina), tightly packed
1 1/2 Cup Water or add as needed
6 Cashew Nuts
2 Tblspn Oil

Directions
- Wash mutton pieces under running water & drain completely.
- Add mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green chillies, little salt, cashew nuts to a mixie jar & grind into a smooth paste by adding little water. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker on medium flame, add onion & fry until they turn translucent.
- Add gingergarlic paste & saute for another minute. Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder & saute for another minute.
- Now add mutton & mix everything well. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until oil separates.
- Add chopped tomato & cook until they turn soft & mushy.
- Add prepared mint cilantro paste & cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add water & mix well.
- Close the cooker lid & pressure cook for 4-6 whistles or until mutton turns soft. Turn off the flame & let the pressure release naturally.
- Serve hot with rice or roti or tandoori roti.
